Devoured Time is a mix of RPG, Strategy, and survival with a horror like theme.
The RPG elements are quite standard and should feel very familiar. You have a 25 quest main story line to follow with multiple endings. You will have to manage you inventory, craft items, skills and level up. There are no classes, instead you pick a hero who has base stats which you can increase through various methods.
The strategy elements allow you to manage your home town in a variety of different ways. You may choose to focus more on crops for selling, or military structures and upgrades for combat. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. During your questing you will run across special NPC’s that if you manage to fulfill their requirements, recruit into your town. Each special NPC has a special use on the turn based strategy combat part of the game. Both take influences from Suikoden.
Survival in the main game isn’t hardcore by any means. During combat you have the chance to suffer physical and mental damage. Both require different ways to cure, for example a bruised limb may require a special ointment. Failure to take care of those injuries will lead to stat drops and possible death. The survival crafting will come in to play here providing you with a means to fix yourself up.
Devoured Time is not a jump out and scare you type of game, it’s rather a game that takes place in a dark world where people are murdered by beast, children killed in their sleep, and demonic like rituals are performed on un born babies. That’s the type of horror theme its going for.

Key-Aktivierung
Um einen Key bei Steam einzulösen, benötigst du zunächst ein Benutzerkonto bei Steam. Dieses kannst du dir auf der offiziellen Website einrichten. Im Anschluss kannst du dir auf der Steam Webseite direkt den Client herunterladen und installieren. Nach dem Start von Steam kannst du den Key wie folgt einlösen:
- Klicke oben im Hauptmenü den Menüpunkt "Spiele" und wähle anschließend "Ein Produkt bei Steam aktivieren...".

- Im neuen Fenster klickst du nun auf "Weiter". Bestätige dann mit einem Klick auf "Ich stimme zu" die Steam-Abonnementvereinbarung.

- Gebe in das "Produktschlüssel"-Feld den Key des Spiels ein, welches du aktivieren möchtest. Du kannst den Key auch mit Copy&Paste einfügen. Anschließend auf "Weiter" klicken und das Spiel wird deinem Steam-Account hinzugefügt.

Danach kann das Produkt direkt installiert werden und befindet sich wie üblich in deiner Steam-Bibliothek.
